Volunteer
We are looking for volunteers to help with trail maintenance and grooming. We also are looking for volunteer help with temporary signage, policing the trains for litter and general cleanliness. NSNA is also looking for social media experts who can help design and implement a social media campaign.
Volunteer with Us
As a completely volunteer-run organization, we are always looking for new people to help us fulfill our mission of creating a network of groomed trails that is freely accessible to the public. Please see a list of our current needs below.
Ambassadors
As an Ambassador, you would help to familiarize skiers with NSNA. You could expect to be outside near one of NSNA’s heavily used ski trails/ parking areas. You could expect to answer questions, direct skiers to groomed trails, and introduce skiers to our organization.
Groomer Operators
As a Volunteer Groomer, you will be trained in the use and maintenance of our snowmobile and ginzu groomer. You and other operators will be responsible for grooming our trail network after a snowfall, and touching up groomed surfaces in need of repair.
Trail Maintenance Volunteers
As a Trail Maintenance Volunteer, you will make sure that the trails are safe and enjoyable for all by preparing bare surfaces for grooming, removing obstacles, keeping the trails clean, and identifying areas where the groomed track needs to be touched up.
Social Media Volunteers
As a Social Media Volunteer, you will be a public ambassador for our mission on Facebook and Instagram. You could also update the community with trail reports and news items on our website.
