Winter is finally here and we are ready to groom!
We were out this afternoon removing fallen trees across Asbury Loop trail and in the Pingree Woodland and it's all clear and ready for grooming now. There are a lot of drifts in the open fields. We plan to at least groom Pingree School tonight. Next up for tomorrow morning: Pingree Woodland, Appleton Farms and Grassrides, Bradley Palmer and later on Patton Park. Stay tuned for updates.

Look for groomed trails as soon as we have at least 4" on snow!
The plan for tomorrow if this nor'easter materializes as expected is to be out grooming as soon as we have 4" of snow on the ground. We plan to groom Pingree School, Pingree Woodland, Appleton Farms, Bradley Palmer, and eventually we'll trailer our groomer to Patton Park. Stay tuned for updates and think snow!

1:30PM Update: We were just over at Appleton Farms, and, unfortunately there is not enough snow to groom. A combination of wet snow, warm ground and rising temperatures has reduced the new snow by half. On the bright side, it is a beautiful day! We hope you are able to get outside and enjoy it.

We groomed a classic and skate track at Patton Park yesterday. Thanks for making this possible! There is a loop around the park and we groomed a portion of the Discover Hamilton Trail along the Schooling Fields. The conditions are very soft due to the extreme cold, but should improve with warming temperatures. We just had the snowmobile tuned, to keep it ready for more grooming efforts, and we are also training more groomers. We are heading out now to groom the Farm Loop and the Plains at Appleton Farms.

We were out at Pingree and Appleton Farm and Grass Rides this morning using our Ginzu Groomer knives to freshen up and set new classic tracks and skate lanes. We set new tracks at Appleton in the field just to the north of Lamson Field and around the perimeter of The Plains.

As of 10pm we have groomed a classic track and skate lane in the majority of Appleton Farms and some of the Grass Rides. We are still having problems with downed trees so we couldn't complete the loop in the Grass Rides. The route between Pingree School and the Bedlock Gate at the Grass Rides has been groomed with a skate lane. We hope to get Pingree School and Bradley Palmer tomorrow. Check back for updates.
